Floating Carpet Helps With The Drying Process

In this water damage, the carpet and pad in the hallway were affected. Our crews go in and lift the carpet in order for our drying equipment to be able to get under there and make sure everything is dried properly. The water damage that happened in this home was classified as "clean water" meaning it did not come from a source that could be contaminated. When it's classified as "clean water" we do not have to tear out the carpet completely, we are able to do things like this where we would float the carpet to get under it and dry it so there would be no tear out needed. It's a neat process!
