Fire Damage In An Abandoned Home

This fire damage in North Alabama was the result of faulty electrical wiring. Notice the extent of the soot damage; the soot was covering the walls for such a long period that some ceiling & walls spots did not come clean.

When you run into the issue of soot not coming off the walls, this is when you have to turn to cleaning, painting, & sealing. After sitting empty with severe smoke damage since late February we ended up having to tear out some flooring, walls, and ceiling. To have been this badly damaged we were so excited to be able to clean the kitchen & several other rooms in the home which in turn saved the homeowner time & money.
